ATO Angels is not a fund or a formal network—it is a community of individuals who believe in supporting entrepreneurs—those building small businesses and innovative tech startups—especially in Puerto Rico and other underserved markets.

ATO stands for Against The Odds and stems from our belief that those who have faced the greatest challenges in life often make the strongest entrepreneurs, driven by resilience, creativity, and grit.

Through ATO Ventures and the platforms we’ve developed—including ATO PRIME, Valid Startup, and Fundiizi—we not only invest capital, but also work closely with early-stage founders to help them test ideas, validate markets, and build profitable, impactful businesses.

When appropriate, we share select co-investment opportunities with individuals who are interested not only in potential financial returns, but also in supporting entrepreneurs and contributing to economic development.

This community of thoughtful, supportive individuals is what we lovingly refer to as ATO Angels.

In addition to sharing investment opportunities, we gather from time to time to connect, exchange perspectives, and share a bit of laughter. These are not traditional networking events—although people do often form meaningful relationships—but rather small, casual, welcoming gatherings centered around purpose and joy.
